Hmmm. You're known for your classic autoscroll sections LB, but I wouldn't call this a classic. It has some good parts to it, don't get me wrong, but the level as a whole just feels slow because there are some pretty uneventful moments.
First of all though, the best part of the level was the overall atmosphere. Very creepy music, and although I like the humor you added in the textbox, I know it's meant to show that there's a large threat from Boom Boom and the tense nature of the music is perfect. So I applaud you for that. The level had a pretty basic start, but that's fine sometimes. It was just going to turn into an autoscroller and I was pretty excited when that section happened because you have shown that you know how to make autoscrollers unique and fun. Unfortunately, this wasn't really either of those. At the beginning it was ok, we've seen the double lava lotus challenge before but we were just getting started. I liked the chuck placement at 1200x, and the lakitus at 1500x were pretty good. The section after this, though, just didn't feel all that great. From here until the checkpoint, it felt like a lot of waiting around, and also I still don't like that the piranha plants weren't coming out of pipes. Not much to say about the short underground section except that it was short and repetitive and didn't really show anything new. And to continue a trend of MJJ, you stopped caring at the end. Well, I'm sure you didn't really but it's kind of felt that way.
I'm giving this a 78. You've made better, but there were some good challenges shown.
