Y'know, this kinda remind me of one my first levels, it got unsatisfactory, too (Edit: it was actually Bronze, just like this level after this rate). But then, Retzorg gave me a surprising high rating. Now, at the time, I didn't know gave high ratings, regardless of how much she liked the level, so it gave me an inspirational feeling; a feeling to not give up on level making (even though I did 2 years later).

So now I want to leave an inspirational message for you, don't give up, the criticism is usually there to help you. Now, you don't have to take everything they say to heart, but try to listen to that nugget of gold that might be in there.

Now, for the actual level, I don't care about scenery or stuff like that; my main criticism towards the level is that it didn't really have a theme, hence an identity. But, if you feel that that the level didn't need it, that's okay. Also, there is nothing telegraphing that there's a hidden block that gives you a shell, seriously I only found it by accident.

Now, the nitpicks.

--The checkpoint was broken, keep in mind that the level's second "entrance" will be Mario's spawning point after the Checkpoint flag is touched.
--Random blind jumps

But aside from that, that's all the problem's I have. Now, in the nature of Retzorg, I give this level

This level was sorta ok but it had many problems. It didn't really look that good since it had no scenery but it sorta had a bit of tiling variety and no cutoffs. It also had repetitive challenges since there were mostly shyguys in this level. Also, the piranha plants looked bad and should've come out of something solid (like the ground if indicated, or a pipe [preferably]). The level also felt kinda empty since it was really flat. Lastly, the invisible block with the shell was unfair, because it wasn't indicated like the other invisible blocks, so I thought the level was impossible at first (or required an extremely annoying pixel perfect jump on the shyguys).

Difficulty: Easy Medium --- really easy other than the hidden shell (I had to look in the level editor)

Overall the level was very fun because of the coin and enemy placements. However I do wish that you used more of the space with details, and that you used more than one block for the block design. The enemy placements were pretty good, though I wish you would've used more than just the shyguys and also that you would've put tubes or something under the piranha plants. I don't really like that you use invisible block for the shell.
