• Description: The first level in world 4. This one shows a couple of new mechanics, that will follow throughout your journey. You and the toads decide to explore the island, and maybe head camp up ahead. First, we gonna climb it. This mountain like island is no challenge for the great Mario.

P.S. THANKS FOR THE FEATURED LEVEL. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME ONE OF MY LEVELS HAS BEEN FEATURED, SO IT IS PRETTY EXCITING STILL. I didn't really think this level would be that good, but I guess I was wrong. This one was kinda rushed, so...

Pretty good. Creative ideas lack and cutoffs do exist as well, but the bouncy mushroom platform, exploration and perfectly executed theme allow for a worthwhile experience. I beat it on my first try ;)
and I guess you could've placed a checkpoint at some point but whatever

It's a sweet level. The theme is my favourite part of it, the combination of rock with that particular background and the fog effect gives it a certain kind of feel. The gameplay isn't particularly innovative, but I like the use of the 'bouncy mushrooms' that Filip came up with and the positioning of blue blocks to create sort of footholds in the walls. Those things aren't innovative in terms of gameplay but they create a kind of thematic charm. I like the way they're gradually used in more and more challenging situations after being introduced. I feel like those ideas could have been developed more with a longer level and a checkpoint, but maybe future levels in the series will :]

The enemy placement isn't creative and it gets repetitive, and some areas are a bit bare without any enemies. I like the layout of the level though, it's not purely linear.

The music track is short, I wouldn't rate down for this but if you can't find a longer mp3, you could try finding an extended version on youtube, downloading it using a youtube to mp3 converter, then cutting it down on a site.
