So this one definitely wasn't easy, and often having unforgiving setups but beatable and highly innovative in game mode. It's kinda like Flappy Bird all over again in that it's all about timing but more to the extreme due to the varying enemy placements. And instead of going from left to right it's the other way around for this level so it's trickier. The only thing I didn't like was some of the obstacles demanded strict precision like in particular some of the spikeballs which had not much leeway with them making it a bit frustrating.

Sorry for the very late rate, I only saw the comment and video yesterday but as I was studying for an exam, I didn't have the time to rate yesterday.

About the gameplay: I couldn't seem to get the hang of how to control Mario like how you did in the video, so I've decided to play the level normally since I noticed the water appears when there is floor and disappears when there is no 'proper' floor, for the most part. It felt fun to play but I found it extremely frustrating after playing it a while, as playing it normally would mean I'd take it slowwww and steady, but it was a great challenge overall. Since this is one level which requires the player to play like how the creator designed, I'd give full credit to you, for the effort, design, gameplay, unique gimmick. I kinda wish there was a background swap whenever the water appears and disappears as a cycle. Overall, it's a phenomenal level with little to complain about.

well... after 1 hour i've simply given up.

i liked your technical combination of sliding, A6 and the waterswap on timer, but again, it needed the background swaps for some extra effect.

the longer i went the better i got and understound certain challenges had a specific to do them which felt cheap (like the several spikebalsl before the spikepath where you just had to drop from a good heigth to get a proper jump)

i also treally disliked minor terrain errors such as terrain next to springs, roofs being way too short horizontally or gaps in the water you could fall through, it made a lot of setups awkward and degraded this level from S tier to an A+

this heavily reminded me of lava falls where i did so many terrain tweaks because i found a lot of challenges to be awkward and the final product was bumped up so much in quality because of that, you seemingly failed to spot out these things, making things often unfair and extremely frustrating.

I've already played this level before and it's very very good, by the way *laughs a lot* The thing that I tried to do is that like, I tried to do it without sliding.

Well orange, this its a very nice level with interesting challenges and great gameplay as always. The game in the description works fine for me, so no problem. Great use of scenery and tile desing too. My favourite part it's where Mario have to pass the Boos. I didn't notice any flaw or error, so here it's your 100:

For me it's Hard and 100

Unfortunately, the game in the description wouldn't load for me, so I had to stick with plain old SMF3. The textures go really wonky when you do that apparently, so I judged the gameplay from my own experience and the appearance/music etc. from the video. Let's review...

* The gameplay offers a great challenge for the more experienced player, while also remaining fair. It provides easy-to-follow coin paths at the more difficult areas, which is a must. The enemies are varied (but not too off-the-wall random) and are generally well located. My only small complaint in this department is the lower fish at X 8540 which always seems to veer right and hit me no matter what I do. The spring challenges are pretty amazing and had me on the edge of my seat every time, so great job there!
* With the limited space you had to work with, the level's decor is just right. I didn't find it overcrowded or under decorated, it was just perfect.
* The aesthetic you were going for was decently executed as well. The background's nothing special, but the music is brilliant on so many levels. Its hasty and upbeat tone matches the level amazingly well. Its other function, being to warn the player of LMW or LMN being activated, is very creative and I haven't seen anything quite like it before.
* All this adds up to make a level that's uniquely challenging and addictive, while not being a bore to play at any point.

To summarize...

LEVEL APPEARANCE: 10/10
LEVEL FUNCTIONALITY: 9.5/10
AESTHETIC: 10/10
LEVEL GAMEPLAY: 10/10
GRAND TOTAL: 39.5/40
(Rounded up): 99%

SUGGESTED DIFFICULTY: Hard (Bordering on Extreme)

I hate writing good reviews. I don't get to complain enough lol.

this is one of those levels where you have to play exactly the way the maker wan't you to, and it works really well. the whole concept of sliding throughout the entire level is very creative. the scenery is very nice and the enemy usage and tiling is very nice as well. the level was extremely difficult and is very fun.
