• Description: This forest is full of all sorts of interesting secrets! I tried to up the decoration a bit, and some vines are just decoration, some are to beat the level!
    Edit: I went back and changed some things about the level you guys told me about, and I was especially sure to change the ending, the most disliked part of the level, to make it more interesting.

Really Fun level, simple, but beautiful.
Cons:
THE CHECKPOINT DON"T WORK! (MAKE A SECOND ENTRANCE AT THE CHECKPOINT; IT MUST BE 2)
There were tile cut-offs (not errors, but where the tiling looks wrong)
EX: (x,y) (200,0) (1200,80) (1980,240)
Ending a bit bland...
The water section; with the blooper, was a bit janky
Lack of exploration. AKA Advance Coins or hidden power-ups or one-ups; sure there was one, but only one Secret sub-areas
BLIND JUMPS
EX: The entire end; mushroom to mushroom, (1660,20) (280,300):No warning for enemies
Pros:
REALLY FUN
Looked good
Pretested nice challenge, fair but tricky.
The level felt more focused; except the end
good layout.

LEVEL APPEARANCE:
It looked pretty good to be honest. There were quite a few cutoffs involving water tiles and grass-on-grass tiles, the end of the level was a bit barren and I'm not quite sure what you were trying to achieve with the waterfall/pipe feature at X 1920 Y 0, but other than these flaws, I liked the look of the level. The scenery was abundant, but not too much so, and the vine challenges fit the aesthetic of the level nicely.

LEVEL FUNCTIONALITY:
There was a small slope issue at X 2560 Y 240 where Mario gets stuck in place if you run at it head-on. Other than that though, the level ran along smoothly enough.

AESTHETIC:
Pretty generic in this department. The level's aesthetic was good, don't get me wrong, but it wasn't exactly original or creative, just your average hills background and SMW music. The inclusion of the vines and some of the background decor was something different, albeit minor.

LEVEL GAMEPLAY:
The level was short, but it made up for its length with a host of enjoyable challenges. While the gameplay may not have been very original or creative, it was fun to breeze through. The enemy placement and variety was spot on for the most part, but the Urchin dodging area felt a bit blind, even with the coins. The last part of the level was kinda boring and could have been spiced up a bit with mini-puzzles or sprite challenges.
