• Description: Music: Nyeh Heh Heh! - Undertale

    Hopefully I can still continue this series even after the end of Flash support, I really wanted to use some of the songs later in the OST.

    About the level: Man, like some of the other songs in this OST, this one gave me some problems in terms of theming. I started building the level when I found a decent enough idea, but I scrapped it and decided to start on another level, one that, hopefully, fits the song better.

The gameplay on this level was ongoing and fun, however... it could use a checkpoint just for the sake of not having to run around constantlyresetting the level, which was quite a chore as inbetween the rushing there were critical waiting spots which got boring.

the visuals looked really good, but the music didn't fit well and the loop felt like a pain to sit through... hotland would've been atleast better to some degree for this level.

the challenges were fun and engaging and you could easily rush through em back to where you were, making the level fair, however, indication of tile placement couldve been at some spots as other tiles interfered, like at the roof when the lava is above your head. also, some challenges were a lil bit on the cheap side, like the baseball chuck and the ball throwing chuck, they were a cheap death for me the first time i encountered em.

A very claustrophobic, precise, and challenging level complimented with amazing atmosphere and scenery. Only complaint I could think of is how scattered the use of enemies tends to be.

Triplebarrel | 85/100

The gameplay in this level was unique at certain points like 980x and 1280x. The problem about it is that it's only good, not great. Most of the level is just one enclosed area with 3-7 tiles of height space to roam around. Try and make it less enclosed so that the player feels like he has a little bit of freedom. (25/30)

Again, the design in this level is nearly perfect, the only problem is that it's really unvaried so it feels like a drag to get through the level. You could've done more than only rock, wood and pipes. (25/30)

The scenery in this level is damn right perfect, I love it. It makes you feel like you're at the inside of a volcano. (15/15)

Originality is a little lacking, but the other aspects of the level make up for it. (20/25)

Overall, this level gets 85/100 and a Hard difficulty rating. Pretty good.

Finally a worthy new smf level. Volcano themes in smf2 are never easy to make and often are done poorly, but this one was seemed to go well. Excellent scenery, good tight platforming and distribution of enemies, except for the mole (X3700) killing itself. The chuck at X1400 was a hassle because you have to get to the platform while also avoiding the football in an unforgiving amount of time unless you retreat and re-approach the obstacle. There's an abundance of podoboos but I'll let you off the hook for that one just because it's a volcano level and you kept a pretty good variety of enemies. In other words, enemy placement could use some tweaking but overall stellar level and way of going about the theme.

Like oh my god, This level is GOLDEN!!
The Scenery, its fantastic! The Challenges are so much cooler than such would be!
Although i didnt finish it and i just die like multiple times, Overall the OST is very fitting and most of the Enemy Placing, Kinda gives me like a Rom Hack vibe.
And then ofc, I have never met a cooler and a Best level creator besides me!
