Nice, reasonably quick and easy to play, just the way I'd like it. Very simple but effective use of the spin jump, although some more ideas would be nice. You also risk getting soft-locked if you don't spin-jump on the thwomp at the beginning right away.

Mesopotamia | 85/100

This level was one heck of an adrenaline rush. It had a simple yet engaging concept where Mario will have to spin-jump throughout the entire level as Big Mario. And it's... good (to say the least) that you made the player having to actually break the blocks before making any kind of progress. It had a surprisingly good length even though the level overall felt quite short due to the level being overall so fast-paced.

However, I just happen to have two things that quite bothered me.

1. The level overall felt quite repetitive because of the way the block-breaking sections (which is the main gimmick of the level) is made, as they are so similarly made with similar platforming challenges that it got quite repetitive after a while.

2. You have only one attempt to catch the Thwomp as some kind of a lift before he scrolls off-screen. If you miss it, you cannot progress and you'll be forced to re-do the level. Backing this up is the fact that there is not enough room to move back to re-spawn the Thwomp. (-3 points)

The Hammer Bro part was nothing impressive as there is just enough room to simply ignore it completely. And the name of the level doesn't fit the overall visuals of the level but that's okay.

Update: Erm, I just replayed your level and sadly, it doesn't respawn at all unless you set up the yellow blocks correctly that allows you to respawn the Thwomp. But, okay I get that it's fair enough that you can see it coming so I guess I'll add back the points I deducted.

The gameplay was repetive, as the other 2 said, which i completelly agree, none the less interesting idea you got there mate.
Though what i think was kinda unfair was the thwomp at the beginning , since i didn't know what to do yet in my blind play and so the thwomp flown up and never respawned and also it was short, but anyway.

While a bit short, the level has shown itself to be enjoyable. The aesthetics were great and the idea of the level is creative.

The only problem is that there is an aspect of repetition with all that block breaking. Particularly, if we compare the challenge at X133 and the one just before the goal, they are almost the same. Since the level is short, you really need to avoid that. This isn't the only time with repetition, as before a similar challenge was in place.

But I really liked the hammer bro challenge.

Overall good effort, I will give an 85, mostly due to originality and that hammer bro challenge.

Very Very fun use of the spin jump mechanic!! This level was overall a blast to play through. The scenery was amazing and I loved the aesthetic of the level.
