Quick summary of the level, the level had really good challenges and good gameplay too! However, the level had no roof, and since its over 230X, a lot of points will be removed, a LOT. Also, the boss fight is useless, because you can just complete the level by pressing the up button on the toad. So yeah, good level, but the castle not having a roof kinda ruined it.

An 80/100 from me, a really good level, but the huge lack of roof ruined it. You might not like the 80, but to be honest, because of the level having no roof, you should have had this coming or you had it coming.

Here's one nice level, removing one feature no one dared to eliminate before: the roof in a closed area. Okay, it may appear I'm joking, but in all seriousness, the level really managed to make the roof unnecessary with challenges such as 129x, 169x and 193x, although it would have been nicer if there were more to fully convince the player of this. Still the challenges were interesting, although by the second part not only the challenges became more difficult than the previous ones (basically labeling them as luck-based), but also the boss at the end was horribly easy (underwhelming, just as LC explained). I must be honest and straight up say I laughed loudly at Toad's message even though the message itself isn't that great lol.

Well, not bad for a roofless level I suppose.

All horrendous jokes aside though, your level's challenges were there for the most part, despite its many traits outside of the conventional castle level, such as the fact that it very much lacks a roof over its head, might I add! I want to go over a few things, obviously the most obvious flaw being that it lacks a roof, something that every castle level should include regardless but we'll get there. Now, I'm just trying to figure out why it suddenly transformed into a semi-kaizo level after the checkpoint. Basically, "Roofless Castle" more like "Ruthless Castle" hahah. I guess what I'm trying to say is, the difficulty didn't exactly line up with the other challenges and it's not like there were coins there either, dare I say it brought out a sense of inconsistency in that regard, if that makes any sense at all. I know for a fact I'm not the only one who thinks the post-checkpoint spinjump challenge demanded the unnecessary amount of precision; yes there's a 1up, but it's just weird for it to go from regular pace to a suddenly super sonic spinning spikeball like that. And what's even more surprising is the one-hit boss battle ending, I mean really? Lol dude we all know you can do a lot better than that.

So with that in mind, here's the big boy breakdown:

(-5) for the slight unfairness/post-midway obstaclel(s) trying too hard to be a kaizo level
(-1) for underwhelming boss fight
(-5) not your best work like you said yourself
(-10) to every roofless segment the level so conveniently left out
(+10) for it being your last level(?) on Level Palace
(+1) feelings towards level (as everyone loves to conclude their reviews with for whatever reason)


Okay, that's a wrap. Be sure to follow level rules better next time of course, this means adding a (real) roof to the castle level or else, as creator said in our private server, "if your level doesn't have a roof, then it must go kapoof" :^) Couldn't have said it better myself.


Oh and did I mention the level is roofless?

Took me WAY longer to beat than it should've... anyways, this level was pretty nice! The way you used the big steelies not only looked cool but also contributed to some of the challenges, and you stuck with this concept throughout the whole level so points for consistency. But the simple spin-jumping challenges got a little repetitive. Scenery was amazing as well. Nice job.
