iv already played this a few months ago when it was new before but i might as well rate its. visuals are pretty decent and there wasnt any huge flaws. hardly see anyone use black poison so that was really creative to.

LEVEL WAS SICK AF. only critizism is that the fog effect mixes up with the clouds in the boss room making it hard to even see, besides that everything was great. The scenery and music mixes so well and suited the level! Keep up the good work :)

From a compelling theme to your odd custom background choosing I can definitely admit this was a pretty good level. For the background I'd recommend a more cartoonish look over the very much realistic photo of realistic clouds/trees. Gameplay was a tad repetitive, but still fun. I do also want to point out that not every ON/OFF button was needed to get through the level, meaning that the level is technically cheeseable. Oh yes and perhaps add coins here and there. All in all, try including more gameplay varieties than just falling platforms and the like, but I do like the direction you took with the King B00 boss fight (verticality is underrated).

Very good level! I loved the visuals, first of all. The gray clouds, the tiling, the background, the fog overall, and the rainbows and clouds towards the end of the boss fight that seemingly signify heaven were all just on point. Music complimented the atmosphere of each section quite well too, from the wind blowing, to the ominous music at the beginning, and the final boss music (which seemed to go higher as Mario ascends too). There's not much else to say about visuals, aside from well done.

As for gameplay, I somehow liked the sudden difficulty shift into the King Boo boss fight. The platforming never really felt that unfair, except for that one cloud that was hard to see and the screen wrap leading to sections that may not be the clearest as to where to go next. Once I got the hang of it, however, it was a blast to play! The beginnings of the level, while not as engaging as the boss fight, had some nice platforming. There wasn't too terribly much creativity here, but still had some fun parts.

Overall, a very solid level. Sad that Jenri619June had to ruin the score as such, since while he made fair points, let's be real. This level deserved so much more than that score!

Design: Solid design you've got going here. It gives out a very nice feel of a burning forest that seemed to be burning for ages. The fog effect coupled with the music gives out a very gloomy feel. However, the clouds, rainbows, and the pillars at the boss map looked unnatural and doesn't fit nicely with the dark, gloomy aesthetics. But other than that, nicely done here. (32/35)

Gameplay: A hit and miss here. You had some neat ideas for challenges, but they aren't executed well enough in different ways to keep things fresh. I really liked many of the skull raft and moving platform mini-puzzles alike, but it does get repetitive in the second half of the level before the boss. The boss has a neat idea, but it can sometimes be slightly frustrating to get cornered by the boss with no way out, particularly when falling downwards by accident. The fog effect also clashes with the vision of the clouds, which can make it tricky to be able to see the cloud platforms at the top half of the boss battle. (25/35)

Effort: Decently well done here. Three gripes I had with this level were: Firstly, the clouds and rainbow tiling don't fit with the overall aesthetics of the boss arena. More importantly, the fog clashes with the vision of the clouds. I get that it's the heavens and the fact that there are no dark-colored clouds in the editor yet, but a background/foreground change that slowly and nicely transitions into the heavens (without the fog) would be welcome here. Another gripe I had, which is minor enough, is the way the boss arena is designed, where cornering is sometimes a thing here. If the boss arena was a little more open, it wouldn't be as frustrating. And lastly, the gameplay could use different ways to keep things interesting instead of repeating the same challenges over and over again. Overall, my conclusion is a little mixed. It is close enough to be an excellent level with some addressing of issues, but sadly it's an alright level at best. (21/30)
