Okay, first off, this level is great. But to answer that, we need to talk about parallel universes. And if you thought my other tangents were complicated, just you wait. Okay, so Mario's position is a floating point number, but it's converted into a short when the game uses it to test for collision with floor triangles. In other words, Mario's position can be any number, but it's converted to an integer between -32,768 and 32,767 inclusive. So, any fractional portion is truncated and numbers too big or too small are moved into this range using a modulo operator. Graphically, that means that the position used for floor detection is always inside of this box. So if Mario's in that box, then his actual position and the position used for floor detection are the same. Albeit, maybe off by a single fraction due to the truncation. If Mario is outside of that box, then his position and the position used for floor detection will separate, since the position for floor detection will just loop around to remain in that box. So I ask you: If Mario is way out there, but the position used for floor detection is still in the box, can he still stand? The answer is yes. As far as the game sees it, Mario is in fact above land out here, because the game checks for floor detection back over there. ["There" is the actual course.] So for all intensive purposes there is land over here! This is known as a parallel universe, or a PU for short.

The level was a funny concept but the level itself was quite boring. Let's get on with the level review.

So overall the gameplay was very boring and dull, I think you were focusing more on the music of the level than the gameplay and design of the level, which is not what you should do at all. The scenery was bland and more could have been added. Another flaw with the level is that you stand in air when you are on the unreachable checkpoint, which isn't good. Another issue is that you have to run for a lot of time to complete the level which is very tiring.

The level is funny tbh, but not good though. Possibly the fact that there is music in the level makes it so bad that it is good!

Rundown:
Boring gameplay (-40)
Standing on air (-1)
Running for an unneccesary amount of time to complete the level (-30)
More scenery should have been added (-5)

A 24/100, not really a good level to be honest but it's ok.

Intro: That was a beautiful performance. (I'm sorry for being late to the party)

The problems:

Literally nothing.

What went well:

I loved the visuals, the gameplay, etc, but we need to talk about parallel universes. Just kidding, we're talking about the song.

JESUS CHRIST THE SONG IS SO GOOD

The vocals, the instrumental, everything. Plus the end was awesome having an extra song play while walking down a long road to the end. It was fitting, and this is a very nice way to celebrate your 69th level (even though I was late, again, sorry).

What you got: 100/100

Rank: Z (Incredible!)

Difficulty: Amazingly Easy (Easy)

Greetings to all of the survivors of Level Palace and those across the ocean.
This is your host, Apple Cutie Pie

Today I would like to feature this level for our 69th anniversary to celebrate the supreme dominance of Level Palace. Today we witness a very extraordinary level made by one of the most popular users on level palace, CREATOR!!

Let us all give him a applause!
Is nobody going to talk about how amazing that song was being played in the level? I'd say it is of the most unique things I have ever seen in the level. It is absolutely godlike. Such splendid talent by a very popular user. It deserves a recognition for being brave of its talent like a flying tsundere in the sky. A very delicate and a very powerful pose by the awesome creator.

One of the most perfect tips that a level creator should know, always have alot of enemies, power-ups, and short cuts. All of these three characteristics are featured in the level therefore it deserves a perfect score. And just to ensure that it is absolutely perfect, Add a cherry on top. Boom, its a perfect level.

The fake flag pole in the middle of the level was a very genius touch to the level, many people would fall for that, and it is absolutely a good thing. We need to make sure that a level needs to have multiple security levels because who knows? Someone might steal your level. But in the end, they ended up failing because your level is unstoppable. Another piece of evidence that is concluded in why this level is a huge master piece.

Now, let us talk about Creator's body guards. They are also known as the amazing Lazorcosmic and the almighty Iggy who have both sought to protect creator's reputation for this very powerful and outstanding level. Both being a huge support in music, together they are legendary, nothing can absurdity stop them. Because it is the power of music.

In conclusion, a very awesome level made by creator. We should all promote 1-1 remakes. Together everyone! Let us make Level Palace a better place.

One more thing, the level is absolutely beatable.

The best 1-1 ever in the history!
Too bad, this level had a very huge empty space so I had to take off some points. :(

(-31) - A very huge empty space.

Final Score : 69/100

This level was pretty decent. Gameplay is obviously 1-1 but with terrain changes, although it still felt pretty flat. Visuals were decent as well. The music was... interesting. But after giving it some thought, I do think there's something more profound to be taken away from this experience.

Starting with the beginning of the song, the stock samples set an immediate atmosphere of the monotony of 1-1. As it goes on, vocals are added in, where I interpreted it as a way to spice up the 1-1 formula, much like how some people attempt to do. You are then able to keep this consistency in mixing up the vocals throughout this track, furthering the ways 1-1 can be remade. But then the track fades away, making way for the guitar to come in. At this point of the level, I reached the end, where you blocked of the goal point, forcing the player to keep on moving forward. It was here where your cover of Boulevard of Broken Dreams started playing where something in my mind clicked. Listening to the lyrics while running the seemingly never-ending trail really opening something in my mind, and I think I get your message with this level.

The point of view in all of this is the creator of all these 1-1 remakes. After making this conclusion, everything other piece of evidence fell into place. The stammering of the vocalist not knowing what to do after finishing another 1-1 remake shows how they don't know what to make after, don't know where or how to stop making the remakes. After all this time, all they can do at this point is walk the only road they've ever known, the only thing they know how to make, almost like a curse befallen upon them, forcing them to contain their creativity within the confines of SMB 1-1. And they don't know where that path leads to, forcing them to keep on creating 1-1 remakes to the point where it now feels like home to them. Walking alone because no one else is willing to take this path, no one else burdened with path. Shadows of the person, fragments of his very own person the only ones willing to make this journey, furthering how this person is ultimately alone. And then the song ends. And then the level ends. A simple brick staircase leading up to a flagpole. The last steps of SMB 1-1. The last steps of a journey. There's always light at the end of the tunnel, always hope for people who keep hoping.

This level really taught me a lot, and I think that the genius in it shouldn't go unnoticed. Overall, I thank you for opening my eyes.

5/5

The music was not bad at all, you hummed it well, it was easy, the very common level like any other with the second qualification, I agree but with the first qualification, it doesn't seem to me, although if you have a little reason why there are invisible blocks and that prevents you from grabbing the flag and win, but what seemed strange to me is that I walked and walked and I kept walking that I was getting fed up and it took me a few minutes until I found the goal with square brown floors but now this was much more strange than the Invisible blocks I finally grabbed the flag all right when something happened that should never have happened to me I was already grabbing the first flag where I had the invisible blocks and gray square floors.

Very glad to be the Creator (get it?) of the thumbnail of this beautiful level. Also, for anyone who wonders, this is possible to beat, you have to jump over the invisible blocks blocking the first flagpole and then run for some minutes

also NO ROOF -100!!!!!!! but +100 because this music is too good and I made the thumbnail and LC is in it so you know

Um, how do you beat this level? The goal is blocked by invisable blocks. You shouldn't post impossible levels on here.
