UPDATE: Removed some cutoffs. Fixed funny cheese
I recommend reading the NPCs because there could be stuff you might not notice.

Mario went to the beach for a nice swim but the beach does not look like a normal one! Time to get out of here.

(yay i published after some time now)

This was a really fun level, however it did have a pretty big issue. You can skip the entire last section of the stage if you hit the on/off switch again after grabbing the springboard. Despite this, level had some fun backtracking challenges. I always enjoy levels where you travel through the same stretch of level multiple times, being different each time. The powerup amount was well-balanced.

-15 for cheese at the end.
+5 for incredible decoration and more minor cheese prevention

Level is well decorated, but the NPCs have no personality to speak of. I don't really see why I had to read the NPCs considering everything they said was painfully obvious (except for the one who mentions the reset door).

The Skull Blocks and Lava seemed like they could have been replaced by Spike Traps and Munchers respectively: lava feels pretty cheap in a level along the lines of a beach one. Also, the Boss Gates appearing next to a checkpoint really scared me...

You should have changed the Boom Boom boss fight to fit the theme of the level more: maybe you'd have to flip switches to drop grabbable blue Blocks from the ceiling, somehow use keys as platforms, or even place a Blargg inside the floor, because why not?

Lastly, this level is REALLY laggy. You should add warps to other maps whenever possible, in my opinion.

Cute level! The aesthetics were very pleasing. I like the use of SMB underwater tiling in combination with the beach theme, it works surprisingly well and looks great. The palm trees layered over platforms works well too. The visuals had great detail and didn't look ugly or disorganized. Now I will say, there were a few cutoffs due to the layering, like when the blargg overlaps the body of water. I can say that the gameplay was decent aside from the few cheeses. Some of the enemy choices could be better though, like there were a lot of koopas and because of this I didn't need p-switch to convert bricks to coins. There were also certain enemies that would perish before they could even get to you. Also I have mixed feelings about the boss battle. On one hand it seems like a pretty decent idea but on the other hand if you kept the fireflower you can eliminate every enemy and make quick work of Boom Boom. Even after losing the flower, I managed to defeat him before the mushroom even had time to spawn.

Really great level with puzzling puzzles and backtracking. But material kinda just blend in with another, so it's hard see what's ahead sometimes. And the boom boom boss fight just makes the music from so loud that will make me go deaf, to so quiet that I think I've gone deaf. Overall a really great level, but I think changes should be made.

It was a good level with interesting challenges and good scenery. One problem I had with this level is the part with the checkpoint. Unless this is intentional, you can cheese the level by grabbing the spring, hitting the on/off switch again to make it off, and then go into the pipe. Maybe at the part where you need to put the spring, also put on/off blocks in the off state so you can't cheese the level. Otherwise, good job

Why were there green lava in a middle of a beach? Is this a toxic-filled beach? Anyway, what a good beach level. The designs were too far good to look like a beach and I liked the backtrack challenges (Especially the Vertical Boss Gate use but destroyed when you press ON/OFF switch, it's really creative and good to see how Super Mario Construct can have such custom mechanics like this) and random treasure chests filled with shiny golden coins. :) I also liked the boss battle by creative ways using the screenwrap mode, dodging the Deep Cheeps and Spiny while defeating Boom Boom. I like how you didn't even bother finishing up the cut-off beach tiles since of course, it will not be seen anyway. The only flaw thing I can see is that you have noticeable cut-off beach decoration in x: 65, y: 29. Other than that, I love this level.

i remember the springboard getting stuck on the palm tree images you showed us in smc discord :trol:
