• Description: On the fourth floor of Peach's Castle lies some of the strangest courses of the game. One of these is Chroma Tundra, with the gimmick of an infinite desert of snow. In this blinding stage lies a few key land marks. These are the chrome colored waters, the village, and the frozen citadel. Within the citadel lies two paths, one towards a prison and another towards a boss fight. Of course, at the time of this level's creation, bosses have not been added to V.8 besides Terrisa, so the only reward is a goal orb on the balcony.

Good level overall, I like the theme and inclusion of switch challenges and scrolling bullet-bill cannons, and the ice cavern section looked visually pleasing although backtracking is a little tedious especially having to redo the dolphin part multiple times during the backtracking (thankfully there are warps in the level). I have to admit the bomb mechanic was pretty darn cool. Then again, it also wouldn't hurt to add some more enemies in the outdoor snow area which at times could feel a bit empty.

Great level, i usually don't mention this but i really like the storyline the level has, also the tiling here looks gorgeous especially in the ice cave section, and the gameplay was very very cool and interesting with the puzzles involving the switches and hm.. "The same but not quite" maps which is definitely something that i don't see too often in Mario levels.
