Brainless Barry's Boring Backtrack (desc) close

Finally, I decided to upload a clear vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aireik0kuQs This is a short memory-based story level of a guy who has, due to unfortunate events, has an earlier end to his timeline. He still lives, but what would be left of him and his wife? This is the first time I've tried a normal, non-puzzle non-troll level in a while (ignoring my Immune to Spikes level), so I'd like your feedback. Depending on what you guys say, I'll either delete this with an improved version or leave it as is. Anyways, couple of things to note here: 1) If the P-switch music destroys the forest atmosphere too much for you, use this link for YT music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUmmCDyB0EI Note that the end has different music, which if needed, can be found here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGHEe-dS8R0 Remember to put the songs on loop so they don't end midway through your playthrough. 2) This is a story level. Therefore, I highly recommend that you read ALL of the textboxes you can to get the entire story. Otherwise, skipping some of the textboxes may make the other ones confusing. 3) Any textbox that is blocked off from the bottom will most likely be accessible while you backtrack. As the title suggests, this is also a backtracking level. 4) Please do not rate down too much for a lack of reset warps. The setups with this level require that nothing be reset, otherwise the entire level could break because of the On/Off switch statuses. Yes, I know that this is not ideal, and I'm sorry, but it is what it is, unfortunately. I tried to make the puzzles relatively straightforward because of the lack of reset warps. 5) One of the yellow switch blocks has a mushroom. Which one? The only one you can hit from below. This mushroom should be grabbed on the backtrack. I couldn't find a way to get a proper indicator of this, so I'm putting it here. 6) Hopefully, it's not as boring as the title suggests. Update: Made the key jump during the backtrack not as stupid. Update 2: Bricks now push munchers through solid ground, so I put stone blocks in L2 to fix that. Update 3: Poison water does not destroy bobombs anymore, so I replaced it. Update 4: Made stuff work in this update, as well as lowered the pitch of the music at the end as to not accidentally copyright somebody. Update 5: Minor things to make the level better (of course, I'm not expecting anyone who've already rated my level to rerate it. I just wanted to improve it cuz why not).

ADYJ's Ethical Trolly Problem (READ DESC) close

Old project I've lost motivation to finish properly and no longer have ideas for, so here it is. I don't really care what you all rate (though I'd prefer at least 60) I just wan't it out of my system, so I can start fresh. Anyways, the title said to read the description, so read the below. Warning: This is a troll level. If you don't like troll levels or don't think they can be good at all, don't play and don't rate (I'm talking to you Filip, since you've told me all troll levels are bad). For the rest of you, there's some info you may need to know: 1) Despite this being a troll level, these text boxes will always tell the truth. I don't outright lie with my text boxes, though obviously this is a troll level, so I'm not just gonna tell you everything. 2) Unlike my other levels, you are allowed and even required sometimes to use an item you have in reserve (top center of the screen). This usually happens in places where two powerups are placed. 3) This is possible (goes without saying). Ask me if you're stuck. Don't just rate 1/100. It may take a day or two if I'm busy, but I will respond. 4) Unfortunately, some glitches like sliding on horizontal ground, have been patched. If you run through an area without a troll, it's likely I removed it. 5) Contraptions are made and tested on May 2020. If for some reason you're playing this in 2021 or 2022, know that some things may not be the same. 6) Exactly one of these statements is false. Which one though? Anyways, that'll be it. So, yeah. Since my first troll level was a disaster, I've made a second one even worse than the first one >:) Have fun!!! Also, just in case anybody complains, there is a consistent setup to not die in Map 4. You just have to figure it out. I believe in you. Update 1: Tinkered with the Map 3 Poison Mushroom troll and made it slightly more potent. Also updated lives to 99 (I think).

Immune to Spikes??? close

Hello, fellow LP players. This is my entry to the Creator Contest for June, 2019. The weird gimmick here has to do with spikes and black death blocks overlaid over normal solid blocks. For some reason, if you hold the jump button, you can survive jumping off of the spikes or black death blocks, as long as you hold the jump button down. Also, I made the two bonus coins as janky and cancerous as possible. Enjoy :) I might post a video on this level if i eventually feel like it. In addition, if anybody catches anything that should not be the case, please let me know. Either include it in your rating or in my profile page's comment section. I only knew about this level contest recently, so this level was kind of rushed.

OSP 3: Jump On Spikes (read desc) close

(In case you didn't know, OSP means One-Screen Puzzle). Geez, another extremely short level, with 10,000 different things cluttering the screen. Wonder when I'm gonna stop being a lazy-bones and make an actual level that includes weird mechanics like these. Anyways, since people have been solving this puzzle and have figured out that weird thing you have to do to beat it, here's my solution to the puzzle. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijT_TExY0mY&feature=youtu.be Update: Removed the mushroom in the item box. Just for future references, items in your inventory will not be needed to complete my levels. Update 2: Fixed some tiling errors, after people have been blowing up the brown blocks with the bomb. I didn't intend for them to be blown up, but since they can, I just replaced them with blocks that can't be blown up. Weird Mechanics: 1. You can hit a ? Block or and On/Off Switch with a wall in front, if you hold the shell directly into the wall. It would destroy the shell, though, but at least you hit the block you wanted. 2. Apparently, you can survive spikes with a floor underneath them if you just hold the jump button down. I think it's because you don't have enough time on the ground to get hit by the spikes???

OSP 2: Top Route close

(In case you didn't know, OSP stands for One-Screen Puzzle.) So, this is the second one-screen puzzle that I have created. This one utilizes some weird mechanics that you may not have known previously, so I'm going to list them below. Note: These weird things have not been tested extensively, so if anything is wrong, please correct me. 1) It turns out that if you're off-screen (above) on a semi-solid, you can't move forward if there's an actual solid underneath. 2) Any sprite you throw will initially have the same momentum as you, so if you're traveling up and throw a sprite, the sprite also gets thrown higher. 3) For some reason, if you hit a block two spaces underneath an on/off tile and it's dotted (not solid and yellow), that tile will never turn solid and yellow, with an exclamation mark for the remainder of the attempt (going through doors hasn't been tested). Update: Fixed Music, and added more bushes. Update 2: Shell should not fall, now. Don't know why that happened.

OSP 1: Koopa Kontrol close

(Just in case you didn't know, OSP means One-Screen Puzzle.) Geez, trying to fit everything into just one tiny little room is hard. The dimensions are smaller than in SMM and letting go of objects with a ceiling above it just destroys it. Nevertheless, I still somehow made this thing work. One-way gates are just the best at saving space. They're wonderful. Anyways, this thing will probably get a 1/100 as a final rating if I don't post a solution to this thing, so below is the video solution to this puzzle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSHSVDBKg2o&feature=youtu.be Yeah, I would say "Hard", but not "Extreme," just because of the Youtube video. Kaizo: Hard? close

In my mind, Kaizo is any very precise trick, or any extremely extreme gameplay. So, here it is. Have fun, I guess? (NOTE: This is a code from the old version of Super Mario Flash 2, but should still work). Kaizo doesn't seem like something that would be fun, unless your idea of fun is torturing yourself. So, yeah. Have fun figuring out that spring jump at the end. Shroom Use Puzzle close

Hello, there. This is my first puzzle that I have made. This level was actually made before I found Ver. C. of Super Mario Flash 2, so I didn't have many features, like bobombs, one-way gates, etc. I did use what WAS available, though. Have fun solving the puzzle, and I will be posting many more puzzles to come. The reason being is that it's more than one screen and is more complicated than a one-screen puzzle, so I just want the player to have the satisfaction of solving this one puzzle. Update: Fixed the cutoff at the top of the level. Don't know why it matters, though, since when playing the level, you can't see it anyways. Seanhip2... the Super Mario Maker Puzzling God... If you're there... I need help...
