i gotta adress this right now, so often get the criticism that many of my levels are repetitive just because they stick to at most, 3/4 types of enemies, but truth is, i personally like sticking to a certain pallete per stage, as i don't like having too many types of enemies, it would make it feel less consistant, atleast it's how i feel, it's part of my style when making stages.
